Soccer predictions for Atl Madrid – Valladolid

Atletico Madrid will host Real Valladolid on Saturday in a late match from the 30th round of Spanish La Liga. We are going to present you some soccer predictions for this week for this fixture at the majestic Wanda Metropolitano in the capital.

In the previous round Atletico Madrid recorded their first win since the COVID-19 pandemic. Los Colchoneros traveled to Pamplona and crushed Osasuna with 5-0 at the El Sadar. The young Portuguese star Joao Felix scored the first two goals, while Llorente, Morata and Carrasco finished the job for Atletico. It was one of Atleti’s best games this season, no doubt about that.

We expect to see the manager Diego Simeone making some rotations for this match. Players like Alvaro Morata, Marcos Llorente, Thomas Partey and Yannick Carrasco started from the bench against Osasuna, but some of them could find themselves in the starting eleven. Meanwhile Vitolo and Kieran Trippier didn’t feature at all against Osasuna.

Real Valladolid approach this visit to the capital from 14th place in the table. Sergio’s team have 33 points won, being 8 points ahead of the 18th Mallorca. This gives Valladolid some calmness at the moment, but they must win few more points in order to be one hundred percent sure in their survival.

Few days ago Real Valladolid made their 12th draw for the season. They hosted Celta at the Jose Zorrilla, but the game ended without any goals scored – 0-0. Unal and Sergi Guardiola had some chances to score, but there was no goals on this day.

These are our soccer predictions for this week for the La Liga fixture between Atletico Madrid and Real Valladolid on Saturday. The way Atletico dealt with Osasuna was impressive and certainly makes them favourites in this game, too. It seems that Los Colchoneros are in a good shape at the moment.
