‘Super Eagles!’ – Arsenal star Bukayo Saka toasts Nigeria’s dramatic AFCON semi-final penalty victory over South Africa

Nigeria made it to their first Africa Cup of Nations final in 11 years in dramatic fashion. A William Troost-Ekong penalty was cancelled out in the last minute by Teboho Kokoena’s spot-kick, with the help of some VAR drama. The Super Eagles eventually prevailed in a shoot-out, with Kelechi Iheanacho scoring the winning penalty, a strike Saka uploaded to his Instagram story.

The Gunners winger posted the video alongside the words “Super Eagles!” to celebrate Nigeria’s win. Both of Saka’s parents, Adenike and Yomi, are from the West African country.
